According to the mobile NQ security, the number of infected Android smartphone is increasing up to 300 percent from 2011 to 2012.
The number of infected Android smartphone in 2011 was about 10,8 million units. Whereas in 2012, it’s about 32,8 million units were infected by malware. Totally, malware was increasing 163 percent in 2012.
On the other hand, NQ found 95 percent malware was made for Android mobile. It shows that Android platform became the main target of cybercrime. NQ found three countries with highly infected Android device by malware. The countries are China 25,5 percent, India 19,4 percent and Russia 17,9 percent.
To protect our Android device from malware, NQ suggests for every user of Android to download the application from the trusted source like Google Play Store and Amazon App Store. Updating the operating system is also suggested. [NRZ]
