Along with the development of internet national, the government of Iran is preparing to make the digital 3D mapping which claimed that more better that Google Earth. The minister of Iran Mohammad Hassan Nami said that they are developing the first Islamic Iran Google Earth. The name of the first Islamic Iran Google Earth is Basir. According to the plan, this application can be used for the next four months.
At Mehr, Nami said "The preparation is already done to launch this 3D mapping application, and we are going to create the right central data to process the volume of informationâ€.
Nami gives the information about what is the main purpose of creating this 3D Islamic mapping application. He also said that
"We are developing this service with Iran’s Islamic culture. The Islamic culture in Iran is based on God rules and it will make the differences between Basir and Google Earthâ€
The government hopes that Basir will be the nation portal in giving the services to global. They also claimed that Basir will be more secure to use globally.
Nami assumed that Google Earth is giving the services to the user. But in fact, there are a lot of intelligent organizations behind it to get a lot of information from another country around the globe.
The head of Iran Police Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam said that Google machine is a spy. Iran block the access to a lot of Google sites, and some issue said that Chine helps Iran for it. Since 2012, Iran wanted to put their self out of Internet global. They made their own e-mail service, blocked social online, and so on to protect their nation security from the spies. [NRZ]
