For event lovers, buying tickets to attend a long-awaited event has to be done as quickly as they can. However, such a process might take time and ticket counterfeiting is not impossible.

Taking that into account, an application which is managed by three founders namely Komang Wiswakarma, Dika Soul Seva, and Alvin Benito Chaniago, has been released to the Indonesian market, to solve the said problems. The name of the application is Maimilu

Maimilu means “Let’s Join!†in Balinese language, and it is a platform to sell and buy tickets. It is for now equipped with helpful features for event organizers and participants. One of the main features is “create an eventâ€, which will make it easier for organizers to create and publish their events. Another important feature of Maimilu is “Manage your eventâ€, which will help organizers to better manage their events, and analyze in details the sales growth. Participants will find it easy to purchase the tickets to join a certain event as well. Maimilu allows its users to pay the tickets with credit cards, or through simple bank transfer.

The process to create an event, and sell the tickets on Maimilu are completed online. Tickets will be released electronically as well (e-tickets).

In 2016, Maimilu made several changes to accommodate market needs. For instance, event organizers are now able to easily customize the data requirements on every ticket that they will sell. “Custom Ticket Form†in Maimilu allows organizers to gather specific information about potential buyers. Information such as age and gender (besides other helpful information, occupation for example) can be listed on the form according to the organizers’ needs. Therefore, when buyers have purchased the tickets, organizers will be able to determine the age and gender trends of their customers. This helps organizers to better plan their upcoming events (how to effectively market their tickets, based on the data of their previous events).

Maimilu has also made it possible for organizers to get verified. A verified account will be known better, and certainly will attract more potential buyers. If an organizer wants to boost their profitability even more, then they can choose to go premium. A premium account will be able to publish their events in the “Featured Events†section on Maimilu’ main page. Maimilu guarantees maximum exposure for events created by premium organizers.

In 2017, Maimilu targets to have 100+ active event organizers and 300+ events to be published on their site. Event organizers will not be charged with any service fee for publishing their events on Maimilu. This will help organizers to sell their tickets easily without the need to pay any operational cost.

Maimilu can be chosen as an alternative for organizers to sell their tickets efficiently across Indonesia. For participants, they can find helpful information about certain events in various cities across the country.
