The phone is labeled under C-series along with the C6 and C3.

The Nokia C7 has the dimension of 117.3 mm (tall), 56.8 mm (wide), 10.5 mm (thick) and 130 grams in weight (battery included). The screen size measures 3.5-inch multi-touch capacitive touch-screen with on-screen alphanumeric keypad, full keyboard, and multiple text-entry options for its input method.

The display is powered by Gorilla Glass and Active-matrix OLED (AMOLED) screen with the resolution of 640 × 360 pixels (16:9 nHD). It also features the digital compass (magnetometer) and ambient light detector. For user interface’s personalization, there are three customizable home screens, Widgets, themes, and also customizable profiles.

The phone comes with 8 megapixels camera. It can capture image with the maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. It also has a front-facing camera for video calls (VGA, 640×480 pixels). The camera features face recognition capability, automatic location tagging of images and videos, photo editor and it supports photography in HD.

The Nokia C7 has been equipped with a 680 Mhz ARM11 processor and 256 MB of RAM. The phone uses the Symbian^3 operating system and it is upgradable to Symbian Anna. The device also supports for 8 GB built-in memory, 350 MB of phone memory and removable storage of micro SD memory card (up to 32 GB).

In terms of power management, the battery of 1200 mAh Li-ion (BL-5K) has been added to the phone and it delivers the talk-time for GSM with up to 1570 minutes and WCDMA 1300 minutes, while the standby time for GSM with up to 552 hours and WCDMA 648 hours. The phone also provides video playback time up to 6.5 hours, video recording time up to 3.5 hours, and music playback time up to 54 hours.

The data network of Nokia C7 is compatible with Quad band GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA with maximum speed up to 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA up to 2.0 Mbps. For connectivity needs, it supports for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, high-speed USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go, integrated GPS, Ovi Maps and 3.5 mm AV connector. The phone now supports for Near Field Communication feature. This feature allows users to perform mobile transactions, document exchange, and wireless connections between two supported devices in a close proximity to each other.

Overall, the Nokia C7 has many plus points for its Near Field Communication feature, sleek design, good call quality, 8 megapixels camera, and the ease of accessing memory card’s slot. However, the phone is still sluggish sometimes, it uses Symbian 3 OS that is still below Android and iOS capability, there is no auto-focus for camera, and there is no application for editing Office files.
