Toshiba has launched their new Ultra Book called Kirabook. One of the best things in this laptop is the screen which supports the high resolution up to 2560 x 1440 pixels.
A huge supports for the resolution in this laptop is the same as MacBook Pro product which has the Retina Display screen belongs to Apple and Chromebook Pixels from Googole. Both screen of those products could support the resolution of the screen up to 2560 x 1600 pixels and 2560 x 1700 pixels.
Kirabook, MacBook Pro retina Display, and Google Chrome Pixel have the same size. The size of those products is 13 inch. The density of Kirabook screen is quite high, which is 221 pixels-per-inch (ppi). It’s little bit lower from MacBook Pro Retina Display with 227 ppi and Chromebook Pixel with 239 ppi.
There will be three kinds of Kirabook from Toshiba. According to Pocket Lint, the first type of Kirabook is based on Windows 8 without the touchscreen. This type will be using Intel Core i5 processor and the price for the first type is about $ 1.599.
The second type of Kirabook is still based on Windows 8 and Intel Core i5. But the different is only in the screen. This type has the touchscreen and the price of it is about $ 1.799.
The last one is much better than the previous types. This type is using Windows 8, touchscreen, and Intel Core i7. The price of this type is about $ 1.999. Besides the screen and the processor, those types of Kirabook are also using the same RAM. Those types have SSD 256 GB and 8GB RAM. The weight of the Kirabook is about 1,3 kg.
