A new Google Fiber which is used in Kansas City, America, is one of the fastest internet connections in the world up to 1 Gbps. But that record is already beaten by the provider from Japan called So-net. A new big branch company of Sony offers the service about a new fiber optic internet called "Nuro” for the Japanese, Japan.
How fast is it? The answer is 2 Gbps. It is faster than Google Fiber. So-net claimed that this connection for internet is **the fastest internet** connection in the world.
Nuro uses the Gigabit-capable passive Optical Network (GPON) Japan connection that could run the downstream up to 2,488 Gbps. We could use this service with $ 50 per month, it is cheaper than Google. The price in using Google service is about $ 70.
But there some extra charge if you want to use the fastest internet connection from So-net. According to Tech Spot, we have to spend more and less $ 540 in using the full package. That price is necessary to use the fiber optic cable to the consumer’s home. Whereas Google Fiber doesn’t need to add more purchase because the package includes everything. So-net gives the agreement in using this service. So-net offers 2 years in using this service, but Google offers one year in using their service. Tokyo itself is the best place in creating the fastest internet connection based on fiber. It’s about 25% families are using the internet connection. [NRZ]
