According to Tomsitpro.com report, Research in Motion (RIM) has begun pitching upgrade incentives for its upcoming BlackBerry 10 platform. The company introduced the "BlackBerry 10 Ready Program", which says it will help customers preserve their investments, but comes with financial encouragement to stay with RIM.
Existing customers who subscribe to the BlackBerry Technical Support at the Advantage level or higher can request to receive a free BlackBerry 10 smartphone as soon as they have installed and run BlackBerry Mobile Fusion (which will be replaced by BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10), and have completed an online learning course to qualify. RIM said that it will then send out the phone when the devices become available.
The company has not provided further details about this phone, but recently published a teaser image of the first BB10 phone on the BlackBerry 10 promotional page. RIM has scheduled the BlackBerry 10 launch event for January 30, 2013. To provide the phone with enough exposure, the company will hold multiple launch events around the world. [IS]
