The models are divided into five series that are 8300 series, 8900 series, 8500 series, 9300 series and the latest 9350 series.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 was announced in 2009 as a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE Smartphone and it is an upgraded model from the previous 8300 model. Though, the minus of this device is the lack of 3G and a relatively slow processor and also the model was not as durable as other BlackBerry phones.
The BlackBerry Curve 8500 series was introduced in July 2009 and this was the first BlackBerry device carrying track pad. BlackBerry Curve 8530 provides a compact design and the simplicity for its user. Introduced in August 2011, the BlackBerry Curve came in three models that are BlackBerry Curve 9350 (CDMA only), BlackBerry Curve 9360 (GSM/UMTS) and BlackBerry Curve 9370 (GSM/CDMA). It runs on OS Blackberry 7, includes an 800MHz processor, a 5 MP camera, a 2.44-inch and 480x360 displays which brings better graphics, NFC (Near Field Communications) support and also the latest version of BBM (Blackberry Messenger). The slimmer and lighter-weight design and the improved technical specifications than previous series will attract many users to own it.
