Bgr.com - Microsoft on Monday confirmed it will launch Office 2013 on January 29th in New York after the company teased the date on its Twitter page for the past few days with a #TimeTo365 viral campaign. It was previously reported that subscription versions of Office 2013 will cost $100 per year for Office 365 Home Premium and $150 per year for Office 365 Small Business Premium.
The Home Premium edition includes access to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access that can be installed on up to five computers, while the Small Business Premium edition adds access to Lync and InfoPath.
Boxed retail copies are expected to be offered in three different versions as well. Office Home & Student can be had for $140, Office Home & Business for $220 and Office Professional will be available for $400.
Microsoft announced Office 2013 last July and promised the final product would be commercial available in the first calendar quarter of 2013. [IS]
