The American Smartphone manufacturer, Motorola, is rumored to release its new Android smartphone in New York (September 5). As reported by Bloomberg.com, this new device will sport the ground-breaking edge-to-edge screen. It means that this device will use the whole front part of the body as display. As a result, this Android smartphone will allow for maximum display screening space as it eliminates the bezels or black frames around the screen. If the rumor is true, the device will definitely be the first Smartphone in U.S that comes with this innovative technology.
This rumored Smartphone will be named the Motorola Droid Razr M4G LTE. Surely, it will support for the 4G connection through LTE and it is also going to be on sale with the biggest wireless provider in U.S namely Verizon even though there is no confirmation from both companies. Also, since the company was purchased by Google Inc, this phone will come with a really high-profile release. Based on the recent reports, the company intends this smartphone to contend with Apple iPhone 5 and also the Nokia’s first Windows 8-based smartphone that will also be released this month.
According to PC-Tablet.com, the phone will come pre-loaded with the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There are also some speculations that the device will sport the massive 4.3 inches super AMOLED display with 960x540 pixels of screen resolution. It may also be powered by a dual-core processor 1.5 GHz MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 along with the decent 8 megapixels camera (with 1080p HD video) which can be considered as somehow the common features for the recent high-end Android-powered smartphone. On the outside, the Droid Razr M 4G LTE should sport the trim profile of the earlier Droid Razr, but we'll have to see whether it carries the long-lasting battery of the popular Droid Razr Maxx. [IS]
